Can I let you in on a secret? The members of the main stream religions of today (Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc) have received false teachings and thus lack a grounding in God’s true Words that would enable them to easily discern truth from error.
Exodus 20:3 ► I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. (3) You shall have no other gods before Me. (4) You shall not make for yourself an idol.
Who is god?
He is our heavenly father,
He is the one and only true god
Exodus 20:23 – Do not make any gods to be alongside me. Exodus 34:14 – Do not worship any other god, for our heavenly father is a jealous God. Deuteronomy 5:7 – You shall have no other gods before me. Deuteronomy 6:14 – Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you
2 Kings 17:35 – When God almighty made a covenant with the Israelites, he commanded them: “Do not worship any other gods or bow down to them, serve them or sacrifice to them. Psalm 81:9 – You shall have no foreign god among you; you shall not worship any god other than me.
Jeremiah 25:6 – Do not follow other gods to serve and worship them; do not arouse my anger with what your hands have made. Then I will not harm you.”
Jeremiah 35:15 – Again and again I sent all my servants the prophets to you. They said, “Each of you must turn from your wicked ways and reform your actions; do not follow other gods to serve them. Then you will live in the land I have given to you and your ancestors.” But you have not paid attention or listened to me.
Hosea 13:4 “I have been your God ever since you came out of Egypt. You shall acknowledge no God but me, no Savior except me.
And yet every nation has made gods of their own and worshiped them, every nation in the cities in which they live. This nation and its people live under a new covenant. This nations believes in a new born king and a new savior in which no can enter heaven unless they go through him. This new born king and savoir shall rule over many in the near future forever and ever
As for me, i shall have no other gods but one.
I shall not have any gods alongside side of my god
I Do not follow other gods, the gods of peoples around me
I Do not worship any other gods or bow down to them or serve them
I shall not worship any god other than god almighty, my heavenly father
